Aja Ekadashi

Falls on the dark eleventh of Bhadrapada. 'Aja' means Brahma, to whom this Ekadashi is dedicated — according to the Puranas, observing this vrata destroys sins and grants the merit that leads to heaven. One who observes it with devotion is described as going to Vishnuloka together with their ancestors and relatives.
