Padmini Ekadashi

Falls on the bright eleventh of the extra (Purushottama/Adhik) Jyeshtha month — this Ekadashi occurs only once every three years. 'Padmini' means pure like the lotus; according to the Skanda Purana this vrata removes poverty, obstacles, and sins, and helps fulfil even impossible desires. Falling in the Purushottama month, it is regarded as specially blessed by Vishnu (Purushottama).
