Rama Ekadashi

Falls on the dark eleventh of Kartik. 'Rama' means Lakshmi — this Ekadashi is dedicated to the worship of Vishnu in his form together with Lakshmi. According to the Puranas, observing this vrata protects one from untimely death, false accusation, bad dreams, and sins, and earns the affection of Vishnu's devotees.
