ওঁ গং গণপতয়ে নমঃ

'Gam' is Ganesha's seed syllable; 'Ganapataye Namah' means salutations to Ganesha, lord of the ganas. It is customary to chant this mantra before starting any new task, puja, or journey, to remove obstacles.
